Buddy 18 year old (19 this spring) thoroughbred gelding. Reason I’m selling is because he is 16.1 or 16.2 and I can’t get on him without having a mounting block (so I can’t take him on trail rides). I thought my son would use him more but he has lost interest in riding. After his racing years he did plenty of things- English and Western. Has worked cattle but not roped off of. He is so easy to catch and has a big puppy dog personality. Very gentle with the little kids. He has never misbehaved when being ridden and is very respectful of your space. His previous owner is a farrier so Buddy knows how to behave when he’s getting trimmed. If used lots in the summer he benefits from front shoes. Low in the pecking order. Teeth and vaccinations Spring 2025. He is pre-scheduled again for March to get (In the first video you can see Buddy in the front, quite a bit taller than my 15 hh mare. Second video- I let Buddy out in the yard to graze. He stays in the yard because he knows the grass isn’t greener on the other side of the fence lol. Third video- he’s in the front so a bit far away, but it doesn’t matter to him if he’s leading or following) Located by Churchbridge, SK *He hasn’t been ridden over winter. Saddled up a couple weeks ago and was buddy sour, but once he was out of the yard he was good to go!
