Spanky 
 
He is a 17+ish year old thoroughbred. He has a tattoo in is lip but it isn’t all visible so we don’t know his papered name or exact age. 
 
According to previous owners, he was used as an outriding horse on the Chuckwagon circuit. He has also been on the wagon. He has been retired for the last 2 years. 
 
I purchased him from the auction in April. He is more whoa then go when ridden by himself, but ridden with other horses he seems to be more go then whoa (which checks out based on his history). 
 
We don’t have him on any maintenance but with more riding he might need some maintenance (farrier says he is a bit stiff). 
 
He is seems to be an easy keeper and loves attention. The first one to the gate, he loves pets and has quite the personality. 
 
His teeth haven’t be done for quite a few years. 
 
He has had his feet done, he stands well for the farrier and we had a body worker out as well who did some basic work on him (May 23). She said he was in pretty good shape. 
 
Easy to catch, stands tied. Easy to tack.
